Coronavirus – Steps We Are Taking
Like every other small business right now, we are trying to figure out what the next moves are, and given the speed of change, our decisions need to change day to day. At this point, we have decided to temporarily stop all new orders for made-to-order rings. We are experiencing supply chain disruptions that we anticipate will only get worse before they get better. Washington also has issued a Stay at Home mandate.
We will be back up and running at some point. You can sign up for an email alert to let you know when we have started taking on new orders or when we have started doing in-person consultations again.
Since we are able to sell and ship in-stock jewelry (our Sample Sale items) without coming in contact with another person, we will continue to offer those items for domestic shipping with USPS only. We will be working in the next week to make sure that all of those items are available online. Our in-stock items ship in 1-3 business days and are discounted 10-50%.
If you already have placed an order, we are working remotely to finish current orders. We will get them completed and out as quickly as possible.
If you have a re-size or a return of an in-stock item, we ask that you hold onto it until the Stay at Home mandate is lifted (the return window will be extended).
Here are some other steps that we are taking to protect our customers, our community and ourselves from the coronavirus (aka COVID-19):
- While experts say that transit conditions are not conducive to the virus remaining viable, we are still taking precautions in this regard. Before shipping orders, we are washing our hands and the jewelry, then wiping the jewelry down with rubbing alcohol before boxing it.
- For local pick-ups, we can either hold your order for a later pick up, or ship it to you. Our preference would be to ship it since we do not know how long the Stay at Home order would actually last.
- We are working remotely so that no two employees are working in the same building.
- We are monitoring daily the WA state guidelines regarding this virus and following recommendations by the state.
As you know, this is a hard time for small businesses, and we greatly appreciate your choice to order from us. There are a lot of people and companies that have been hurt by this. If you have the means, we encourage you to donate to your local food bank, and when you are going to buy something, see if there is a small business that you can buy it from rather than a big retailer.
Stay safe, stay home when you can, and thank you again for choosing us.
